About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(07/12/2010) “For sale is 1957 Willy’s Jeep FC150. This is a 4 Cylinder, 3 speed Manual Transmission 4 Wheel Drive Utility Vehicle. The title shows that the odometer has exceeded mechanical limits, so we do not know the exact mileage on this Jeep. It was originally sold to the US Forest Service. We have serviced this vehicle in our Service Department. Here is a list of a few of the things that we have done. Oil Change, Brakes adjusted, carburetor overhauled, replaced spark plugs, replaced upper and lower heater hoses, replaced fan belt, overhauled the fuel tank, resealed the transmission, replaced the battery, replaced pinion seal, resealed transfer case. We did not inspect the winch, so we are not sure if it works or not. Please ask any questions before bidding. We must charge 8.1% Sales tax , $28.25 Title fee and $399.00 Documentation fee for Nevada Residents.”

(08/16/2010) Nice old school jeep build. It looks well put together with an unusual paint job.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep. Great condition with very low miles. V8 350 small block. Extra hood that matches the striping is included. Many many additional jeep parts available. Make offer.”
Brian has this frame for sale and really doesn’t want it to go to waste, but needs to have it moved by Monday.
“I have this frame,it is the frame only(no wheels or axles).I believe it is to a 1942 MB.It is for sure a MB though. It is in pretty good shape from the front bumper to the machine gun mount cross member, has no motor mounts. It was converted to an agrijeep, and the back end is pretty bent and farm welded.Good horns on the front. It needs to go,I have a call in to the wrecker, and is going for scrap tuesday(100$).Any offer over 50$ takes it,must be gone by monday, and I dont care if they use a sawzall, in my driveway to cut it in half as long as they take it all. Thanks Brian 509-460-2577”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. This sold in 2011 on craigslist for $4500.
(06/25/2010) “For 64 years old this Willys is is nice shape , it starts right up, (even after sitting all winter) runs very good, I really dont know much about it. It appears to be original, but I am not a expert. Willys flat head 4 cyl, 3 speed trans on the floor, 4 wheel drive work good, both low and high range, idles good, good down the road fine, I just drove it to town today, the transmission shifts smoothly no shimmies or wobbles.. The windshield has been separated from the body, this will need some work to reattach.(or replace)Includes a aftermarket top and doors, ( the top has mouse holes chewed in them, it would need a new soft top, but this one is included if you want it., The battery is 12 volt and it held a charge all winter, ( it does need a new battery hold down). Serial number is 67874.”
(07/19/2010) “Up for sale is a 1942 Army Jeep. (MB – Buit by Ford Motor Company) The jeep runs and drives like new. If you respond to this ad using e-mail YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER SO I CAN CONTACT YOU. Iwill not respond using e-mail.”
(05/17/2011) This looks great for the price, though this appears to be a M-38A1 body on an earlier frame.
“1951 Willy’s M38 A1 Jeep for sale. Runs and drives. New snow tires so can be driven or towed. New Solex carburetor. Have a few spare parts including original air cleaner. Have not found any rust in body except in rear deck by rear seat. I believe a previous owner has done the body work as the body is straight and clean. Stock gauges in-op. Transmission, transfer case and differentials are tight. Over the last three years I have taken it on a half dozen 40 mile back road trips with no problem
