Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Military trailer designed to be pulled by a jeep . Very heavy duty . Pulls very good . Sheet metal is beat up but frame is good . Will out-haul , and outlast any small trailer you can buy from a big box store , northern , hrbr freight ”
This GPW includes a flatbed trailer for towing it.
“1942 Ford GPW Jeep – older restoration, painted as a “Follow Me” jeep, it is used as a reenactors jeep (has won Best Vehicle at the Midland Texas Airshow) Stored inside. Converted to 12 volt. 4 cylinder jeep engine, original drive train, combat rims, two older tops. Also included is a 2006 two axle bumper pull flatbed trailer for towing jeep on highway, trailer is painted olive drab.This jeep is a lot of fun and always a head turner. The seller believes the engine is original. However, the ID# starting with 4T indicates this was originally used in a late 48 or early 49 truck (thanks to the 2A page for that info)
“1946 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2A. ID# 69538 This vehicle runs great and is in excellent condition. Features brand new exterior body and paint and brand new top cover. Interior is clean and finished. No rust or holes whatsoever in the tub. Rear bench seat is newly reupholstered. Engine is original ID# 4T36907. Breaks are brand new as well. Undercarriage is also in great condition, rust free. Also includes original gas can and extra rim for spare tire.”

(12/19/2012) This seems a little strange. The seller bought this twelve years ago from someone in Arizona. It still has the Arizona title. What’s strange is that instead of new pictures, the seller appears to be showing pictures from Arizona, which I think means the pictures are twelve years old? You gotta love the tiny rope around the bumper, lol.

This CJ3A has its original Go Devil engine- runs and drives great.
Never been cut or modified.
Very good original condition with cosmetic improvements and electrical upgrade to 12v.
Purchased in Pinetop, AZ about 12 years ago from the estate of a man who was said to be the original owner.”
