This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/02/2010) This appears solid with minimal updates and sports a rear PTO.
“This Jeep is in almost original condition. It was on a farm in Nebraska since new, until brought to Boulder County in 2002 by the second owner., from whom we bought it. It has the original engine and all parts, including a rare “power take off” (PTO) on the rear which still works well. Original paint scheme of Americar Black with Harvard Red Wheels. I added the new soft top, and had the original 6 volt system converted to 12 volt for better starting and running. It has a new 12 v system, new generator, new carburetor, new fuel pump, and new 12 v battery, new tires and used rear seat. The engine and transmission are very strong, and it will “climb a tree.”

Well, despite the claims, it isn’t an Army version. It seems to be potpourri of years.
