About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1943 Willys Jeep – Original, does not run, has CA title. This is part’s vehicle if you need parts for your WW II flatfender jeep restoration. Jeep was stored outside for many years and exposed to the elements. Does not have original combat wheels, top bows, etc. Not interested in trades and no spammers.”
“I have a 1943 Ford GPW jeep for sale ” The Original Jeep” I have painted it and done some minor repairs to it over the past few years. It has a 134 Flathead motor and it is very reliable!!!! Before I bought the jeep the previous owner sent the block to a shop to have it completely rebuilt. It has approximately 4000 miles miles on the motor and I had rebuilt the transmission and transfer case and drove it for the past 1500 miles. There is a few cancer issues with the jeep but that is kind of expected for a vehicle of this age. I had replaced the shackle’s for the springs and converted it to a 12 volt alternator system. Serious inquiries only please.”
Massimo writes on this Flickr Page: This is a very nice museum, solely focused on material used by the Swiss Army. It has an impressive collection of 20th swiss artillery and soft-skins, plus some cool AFVs. Its only drawback is that it opens only less than ten days each year… But since it’s enterely run by volunteers, I don’t complain. The pictures in this set were taken during various visits, using different equipment, so quality isn’t consistent and some older shots aren’t that great. But since the Museum isn’t very well know, I am including them to give as much visibility as possible to this excellent collection.
