This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (12/26/2012) The engine is out.
“Selling an old 1946 CJ2A Military type Jeep for parts or restoration. Most of the parts are there and will go with it, including the origional Willys flathead engine. Some of the parts have been taken off the jeep, but these jeeps are fairly simple to work on as you may know. The engine is out and was needing a valve job. It ran but smoked a little. I saw this same model go for over $8000 on ebay when restored. It has like new tires on it with full tread. The body and frame are solid but the body has a few rust spots. The tailgate is rusted at the bottom. The bumpers are there and the Grill appears to be new with chrome on the bars.”

High Strength Summers Brothers Axles in Both Front and Rear with High steer set up-not gonna break! Turbo 350 Tranny and a T18 Transfer Case(3 stick). Art Carr Shifter, Race Seats, Full Cage and Ramsey 8000lb. Winch. Tall Hood. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes and a Heater. Hold on to the Grant Steering Wheel smoothly at 65 mph down the HWY.”

“1947 Wylls Wagon Jeep with 350 Chevy engine, new carburetor, headers, Chevy S10 Frame with Power steering and brakes, automatic transmission, new guages, new aftermarket air conditioning, air bag shocks, reece hitch, radiator has 2 fans, and 20+ gallon gas tank, recently added dual exhaust, newer bucket seats with seat belts; new smoothy moon wheels and tires, new front bumper installed, rust repairs and restorer has been started.

Here’s an oddball item. This is actually a Go For Digger Dash Tag (manufactured by the Go For Digger Trenching Machine Company) and not a Jeep-a-Trench Tag (by Auburn Machine Works) as claimed by seller.
“Hi! I have for Auction here a Brass Tag off a Willys Jeep. It is 8″ long and 5″ tall. It is in good condition. It was mounted on the dash for a Jeep-A-Trench Attachment. Happy Bidding!”
