This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I have a good solid 1950 Willys Jeep CJ-3A for sale. Starts, runs pretty good. Motor is solid (does smoke a little from time to time). As you can see above it has a new fuel system. Will need a new battery. Brakes currently do not work but all that is needed is the new master cylinder installed that I will included with the sale. Transmission does grind and moan, needs rebuilding and new seals (leaks) but the clutch is flawless. Transfer case is solid. I have went thru both front and rear axles and they look good. Body does have some rust thru issues but its solid considering the age. Lights are currently not wired but I am including a new light switch and it appears to have good lamps. Comes with both driver and passenger seat frames. I’m asking $1450 for the Jeep. I have over $600 in parts currently installed or will come with the Jeep for you to continue on with the project. Would make a great hunting jeep or a solid restore project for someone. ”

Looking for USDA jeeps I found these two different plows used for fire fighting in the late 1940s/early 1950s.
The “V-shape plow” was featured in the August 1949 issue of Popular Mechanics:

Glenn spotted this replacement spare tire oak block isolation kit on eBay
