About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Heavy Duty 4 speed T-18 Borg Warner Transmission (along with Dana 20 transfer case and bellhousing) it has the very low 6.32 to 1 first gear ratio. strong tranny for offroad jeep or truck. it came off of 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief SUV. MOVING MUST SELL, $450 OBO, (509) 768-6280”
This is located at the same place that has the MB posted below. Again, this looks like a reasonable price with some decent parts.
“This is a decent condition project jeep. It’s missing the pass. seat & inner windshield frame, but is for the most part complete. The motor turns over, and all the drivetrain components spin, but I have no idea if it’ll run. The body’s pretty straight, there’s minimal rust through on the floor, and the frame’s good as well. You can come check it out at 312 S. Dishman Rd. (corrner of Dishman & Appleway) or call & ask for Dave. Shop 509-928-4460…cell 509-928-4460. Comes with a Washington state title.”
“This is a 44 Willys MB and is in rough condition. The tub’s straight but rusty, there’s no pass. seat, radiator, or windshield, but there’s still lots of good parts. (axels, trans & T-case, steering box, ect.) The engine’s a non stock F-head and is missing some parts. The frame’s been welded up alot in the front but is decent from the firewall back. You can see it at 312 S. Dishman Rd. (corrner of Dishman & Appleway) or give me a call (ask for Dave) at 509-928-4460…cell 509-991-4573. There is no title.”
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2A comes with original set of jeep wheels all four, was going to be our project for the dunes but too broke to fix it up. Have Title for it.”
“Complete with extra hood and aluminum doors and extra tires. Lost my job and need the money. Yes it is rusty and most paint is wore off. Was running last summer. This is a project and has no title. This jeep came from Tennesee farm and was never ever titled because TN didn’t require titles. I can help deliver a resonable distance. The price is not negocable. I will have some photos if needed. Will go thru email first.”
Here’s a good looking jeep just down the road from me. Guess I need to go check it out.

(06/09/2010) This looks like an interesting project.
“THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN SETTING IN A BARN FOR 27-YEARS (DOES NOT RUN)–TRUCK IS ALL THERE–I CHOPPED THE TOP 4-INCHES (LOOKS GREAT)–I HAVE THE FRONT BUMPER AND ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED TO FINISHE IT I WAS GOING TO CONVERT IT TO 2-DRIVE WITH A CHEVY SMALL BLOCK AUTOMATIC BUT NO TIME TO WORK ON IT RIGHT NOW
WILL MAKE A KOOL STREETROD OR RATROD //// 989 429 7427 ////////”
(05/11/2010) If we had a better pic, I *think* we’d see the upper tool indent visible but the lower one not visible. However, even if that was the case, it appears that though the gas cap is visible, the inlet appears tilted, suggesting it is an aftermarket install. The dashboard suggests it is a MB body (with the glove box). The floor board of the rear is just visible and is flat as expected, rather than having undulations like the CJ-2A. The grille is mb, the passenger fender is mb and the hood is mb. However this does have a CJ-2A windshield. So, this appears to be less stock than I originally thought.
“1942 Willy’s Jeep. Runs good, no rust, super hurricane 6 cylinder engine, new tires. Street legal.”

A reader ask me about replacing the stock single brake master cylinder, found on many early jeeps, for a dual master cylinder. Can it be done? It turns out there a variety of threads and pages on this alteration. Here are some of the links I found if you are interested in this mod.
