Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Completely restored, 350 Chevy, Holley 4-barrel carb, Mallory ignition, Hooker headers, 9-inch Ford rear-end, wheel wells widened 1-1/2 inches for a beefier look, custom Red Mica paint with “ghost” flames on hood and front fenders, all new glass, chrome all done at Sherm’s (Sac), diamond plate pick-up bed, chrome firewall, new interior with functioning original gauges, Alpine CD receiver stereo with iPod connection. Less than 100 miles on restoration, but it’s got to go to make room for a new “toy’. Shown at the GV Downtown Car Show and Cruisin the Pines 09, also feature in the Union in August. Garaged in Grass Valley. $22,500 OBO.”
This has a PTO on the rear.

Lots of updates on this nice looking build.
“Get ready for Car Shows and Cruise NIghts with this 1962 Willys SW body on 1991 S-10 2wd chassis. 350TPI w/350 trans,headers,dual exhaust B&M shifter, P/S, CD player PA title and Inspected. Runs good, very quick. Very unique vehicle. Recent work include new master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinder. shocks (4) springs front and rear. Interior has dodge ram bucket seats, rear seat is oe, wooden door panels. Add some woodgrain vinyl and surfboard for classic California look. New picture, wheels are now red. I bought car done, changed the roof color silver bottom-gray roof and wheels.”

“1952 Willy Rock Crawler Project. Has great start, I have way more in it than this. New 33″ x 12.50 x 15 Trexxus tires on Aluminum modular wheels. Has 1993 Chevrolet 4.3 liter V6 needs the wiring finished. Has Racing Seats, fuel cell, Centerforce clutch, hydrolic clutch setup. $1500.00.”

“no title. good tires running 302 ford with willys 3 speed and tcase. it will need a battery and seats. need some wiring for lights. engine runs but needs to be tuned, but does run,drive and stop. i have a tow bar for it. bring 2″ ball and safty chains. $800 make offer i want it gone.”

(05/24/2010) Besides a restorer’s touch, this needs a restorer’s bankroll.
“1951 Willys Jeep for someone into restoring autos… This guy has been sitting under cover but needs a restorers touch. I am selling this for my landlords.. original asking price was $1500 but the landlord has come to their senses and is letting me sell it for $700…. This fella needs to find a new home asap…. I really want him out of my garage!!!”
