About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Classic restored 1946 willys jeep v8 motor plenty of power. It’a an eye catcher for sure very clean and runs great! Toyo tires with 17″ rims, call for more info.”
This appears to be a mix of an early 1946 and a 1948 with a fiberglass body thrown into the mix. So, it is rare because I suspect there is only one of those.
“Up for Auction is a very rare 3 speed on the column 1948 willys it was restored about 7 years ago and the tub was replaced with a fiberglass one,It was just painted with Durabak Scratch Guard and Off Road Interior Coatings (Read more about it Below) All the army decals where just put on also and can be removed pretty easy… all the brakes and lines where replaced it has the ORIGINAL rebuilt 4 CYLINDER WILLYS FLATHEAD ENGINE, That runs awesome 3 speed tranny ( pops out of 2end gear sometimes) 4 wheel drive works…. I upgraded the charging system to 12 volt and added turn signals also just installed a new exhaust manifold and tune up, starter, headlights and taillights….. ”
“1951 Willys Jeep, flat head V8, 3spd, custom paint, have hard top and doors all in good shape, just needs brakes, has working winch and comes with tow bar. $3,500obo
It runs and drives, but only on 3 cylinders. I just seems kind of sad.

“This Jeep Willys Overland MB 1946 was purchased from an Italian Army Surplus Sale during the sixties, subsequently the car was restored for my late Mother by Carrozzeria Pavesi Rolls Royce and Bentley, Milano, Italy. The restoration was focused on making a glamorous car with all original parts, just the roof and side panels are a work of art…. The dashboard was fitted with a wood panel to increase the good look and the original plates where fitted to the glove compartment box door instead of the engine compartment. The car is fitted with a Webasto gas heather for cold climates. The car was stationed in St. Tropez, France for many years and then was sent to the Swiss Alps in St. Moritz where it stayed until I imported it into the US in 2003. It is a great car, all systems works very good, steering, brakes, engine, etc… it would make a great addition to a Summer/Winter Home, it is great on snow, beats any modern car…. The attention to details in this car is fabulous.”
Ran when garaged. Looks like it might be solid. I wouldn’t call this a sacrificial price though.
“1947 WILLY’S JEEP 6 CYLINDER GOOD CONDITION WAS GOING TO RESTORE BUT MUST SACRIFICE THIS JEEP IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR AS OLD AS IT IS. WAS RUNNING FINE WHEN GARAGED SEVERAL YEARS AGO.”
