About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Very nicely built jeep everything on this is new it’s in perfect condition. Corvette 327 top loader 3 speed transmission shortened danna 44 front an rear with lockers. You will not find a nicer cleaner Willy’s jeep. There is not one part of this jeep that’s not painted or powder coated. No leaks entire underneath is painted and spotless. I do need help selling. only trade I may consider would be for another jeep. A nice cj7 or Lj Rubicon.”
“46 willys CJ2a with a 57 Studebaker 289 v8 amazing mechanical condition, new tires and no rust. This is tons of fun and a piece of history. Very first year of the civilian jeep.”
“1951 Willys cj3a. Has Buick v6. Runs and drives. Body is straight but has some rust on bottom of tub. Could use a tune up as well. In pretty good shape for 72 years old. $5000obo.”
“1953 Willys cj3b high Hood project 4.3l Chevy with Edelbrock intake, brand new HEI and brand new quick fuel carburetor, 150 psi compression in all cylinders and turns over freely on the starter. It will run it just needs the distributor hooked up in the carburetor put on. Adapted to 3-speed with Warn Overdrive. 5 32×11.50×15 super swamper radials in great shape, 4-in lift (still spring under axle), power front disc brake conversion, steering conversion, swinging pedals conversion with hydraulic clutch, flaming river steering column, PRP suspension seats, full cage, canvas safari top, new/uncut dash panel, dual poly gas tanks, there is a battery tray and some other miscellaneous parts. I also have rear paddles on Wheels and front sand tires with no wheels but I can throw in with the right deal. Just needs to be put back together and a few things finished up. There is no wiring. This will be a super solid neat old Jeep with just a little bit of work finishing it however you like”
“1949 Willys Jeep halfway through restoration. Only driven 95 miles. It clearly needs body work but it drives. We rebuilt the engine, installed new brakes, and a new fuel line in 2019. It might have 25 miles since then. I haven’t had time to mess with it so the battery is dead. It needs either a trickle charge, new battery, or just to be trailered. My dad has the title. It is his so make an offer and I’ll relay it to him.”
” have owned this jeep since late 2013. It’s been garage kept. When I got it it had a blown f134 motor installed and sat until 2020 when I installed an other motor in. I found the t90 to be bad and had installed a running working t84 from a military mb. It’s running driving and braking. I did have a Holley 1904 carb on and installed a wanna be version. I seems to a little lean when it warms up. So needs to have vacuum lines looked at and PVC valve hooked up. I will be taking front windshield for my gpw. And I can provide a very rough 43 windshield but frame is good. It does not have any registration as it drove around my ranch with no intention of being on road. It has no data plates or license on frame or tub. Will come with the soft top as I really want to keep for my 43, but if the price is low for pick up I will remove top and all mounting hardware. Has no title or pink slip. Asking 3800 obo as a perfect ranch jeep or good start to someone’s rusted out tub.”
(01/05/2023) This is one of Rob’s former racers. I believe that’s a Bobcat body.
“Anyone interested in getting into the short 8 class of pnw4wda racing? I’m posting this up for a buddy, it used to be our family racer for many seasons While it’s been a few seasons since it was ours, it’s had a couple upgrades, and is for the most part turn key ready for next season. Comes with a spare fiberglass body and a pile of spare parts. Engine is 500 ish horsepower mostly Brodix full roller 327,top loader side shift 4 speed manual transmission, 20 transfer case, 44 differentials front and rear Current owners have moved up to a slightly more family friendly medium rig. If interested, send me a message and I’ll get you in touch with Brad.”
