(10/18/2011) Looks in great shape, though I’m thinking painting it green will help sell it.

“hate to part with my baby, but I never use it anymore. Here it is. Time for someone else to fill it with kids for the parade, and to climb the hills and mountains with a rifle or camera in the rack.

1951 M38 Willys Jeep built for Korean War. Frame & suspension stronger than the CJ3A.

Originally used as Communications Jeep in Korean War (Large cable remains)
Runs great.
Body rebuilt, sand blasted, and painted.
New carburetor, water pump, electric fuel pump, starter motor, fuel line, gas tank (clean & line), radiator and hoses, oil filter assembly, oil hoses, shocks, license plate light, rear view mirror, battery, oil gauge, fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, remove transmission and replace seal, new front and rear seals, brake drums, cylinders and pads, master cylinder, brake line set, wheel bearings, front bumper, roll bar, wiper kit, windshield seal, steering wheel, bellcrank kit, and lots of other “nuts and washers.”
