This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Randy Qualls is on the left and Carson on the right. Here, they are just entering Arizona.
Randy and his son Carson are currently part way through a cross country trip in two flat fenders. Their journey began a few days ago in Jacksonville, Florida. Their western destination is Ventura, California. From there, they plan to drive back, heading slightly farther north through Utah and Colorado, before angling back south towards Florida. This is a map of their route. They are currently in Arizona driving west along the yellow line.
From Florida, they drove to Alabama, but had a few mechanical issues at one point.

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A Clean Title, owned for about 10 years. Mainly storage kept but less than 500 miles since putting the motor in. 3 speed with overdrive V6 rebuilt motor that came out of a 1979 Buick Skylark. Clutch replaced with motor. Dana 18 transfer case and T90 Transmission Just rebuilt the radiator New alternator just installed as well. All 4 Tires have great tread including spare. Brand new We do have the back seat and front. Also have a set of chains for two tires.”
Looks solid, though the passenger floor has some fiberglass.

This does not run and has some bubbling rust, but does have a rear PTO.
“Miss America is for sale! She’s a 1959 Willys FC150. Has the original F134 engine and 3 speed transmission. Also has a rear PTO. Does not run. Engine is stuck and I have not tried to free it. Truck is complete. Body work has been done to the bed, rear fenders, front wheel flares, and dog house. Cab has rust in the floor boards, rockers, doors, and around places in the top belt line. Pics should show all of that. FC is located in Goodland Kansas. I am heading to Hershey PA on Oct 2 with a trailer and can deliver it along I-70 headed east for $1 a loaded mile. Clean KS antique title in my name. PM with questions.”
