“This Jeep is a CJ-2A Jeep Willy, made after WWII, the CJ stands for civilian jeep and was based on the ones used in WWII. This Jeep was fully restored by its previous owner, a former military mechanic who spent a lot of time restoring this vehicle and making it run amazing. After his death his wife sold it to us because we were friends and her kids didn’t want it. Runs amazingly, fully restored and hasn’t been driven off road since restoration, no scratches dings or even tears in the seat cushions, an instant parade, car show or whatever vehicle, this was the original ATV and can go anywhere you want it to, asking $18,000 for it, reasonable offers will of course be considered, email me for more info, pricing, pics or whatever. Email me at Hekatonheres@gmail.com thanks for looking”

1955 Wagon Project Yakima, Wa **Status Unknown**

Here’s an interesting project in which a good chunk of money has already been invested. I don’t know if the seller will get his money our or not. The seller mentions this is a rare wagon model. I’m unsure whether this is true or not.
“Start off with a little history of this rare Jeep Willy’s Panel Wagon. This is a windowless panel wagon with rear delivery doors (sometimes called ambulance doors) that was a special order forest service vechiles. Some of the rarest vehicles to come by now a days. It was once used for a top fuel car in Seattle some years ago About the only thing that’s fit’s the original jeep is the body. The rest is a ground up restoration converting it back to a 4 x 4 with a ton of labor and cash put into it.”
1948 CJ-2A Colorado Springs, Co **SOLD**

It runs. It even stops now.
“I bought this Jeep twenty years ago and rebuilt the engine. Since then I have only used it to plow snow in the driveway. I recently replaced the brake wheel cylinders and two brake lines to get the brakes to work. I used it 20 years without brakes; I never went fast enough that I couldn’t stop by lowering the snow blade. The lights don’t work; I never needed them. I never had it registered on the road. There is still a license plate on it from 1976. I imagine that was the last time it was registered”
1950 CJ-3A Grants Pass, OR **SOLD**
I wonder what the diameter of that rollbar is? Looks pretty big around. This might have minimal rust, but somethings been done to the steps.
“No time to rebuild this toy. It is in very good condition with minimal surface rust. Tub in great shape. This is a project vehicle. The last time it ran was a few years ago. It has a F-Head 134 I4 (4 cycle). The oil filter has been modified and the electrical is 12V instead of 6V. I am not going to snow anyone over or waiste their time – the engine could be siezed! Also available = The front bumper is heavy duty with a PTO Wench, however, the PTO on the Jeep has not been installed ****Not included in Price**** …. “
My Build — Engine and Charging System Connections
UPDATE 2: I’ve made a major adjustment to my basic wiring schematic. This fixed my alternator issues and got my volt meter working correctly.
Major Changes:
- I corrected how I wired my Ford Starter Relay (aka Remote Starter Solenoid). Basically, when the starter button is pushed, it ‘closes’ the connection in the Relay, which ignites the left side of the relay, in turn causing the starter to start the engine.
- While my schematic was actually correct, I had mis-wired my Delco 10si alternator because the wiring that came with my wiring harness caused me to mix up the sensing wiring and the field wire. In my case, the sensing wiring is on the left and wired to the volt meter and the field wire plugs into the right and wired to the battery.
- I hadn’t added a power wire to the volt meter side. I made sure the power wire was only powered up if the power switch was on, to reduce the chances of the batter getting drained.
My Build: The Engine’s Running
Below is a video that documents the third start of the engine. It’s pretty brief, but I didn’t want to do much more than idle it at that time.
The main issue with getting the engine to work was that I simply had the distributor wires in the wrong places .. i was off by 180 degrees. Once I fixed that, it started immediately! Frankly, I was surprised when it started. I only swapped the wiring because I saw someone else on the web with a HEI distributor with the wires opposite of what I had done. Since I was out of ideas, I figured swapping wouldn’t hurt anything and, VIOLA .. it started instantly!
Once I had it started, I had to go back through and fix some of the mistakes in the wiring I had made, including discovering and fixing a key wire that ran underneath the jeep — that was a pain!
Now, most everything works. One key issue is that the alternator isn’t working. But, I think I should have that problem solved by tomorrow.
