-Dana 27 rear axle

The previous owners put a v8 and cherry bomb exhaust in it and ran it like that. The motor is junk. The body needs work but Kaiserwillys . com sells new body panels and full tubs for what you want to replace. This would be a full restore but when completed a 1942 MB goes for about $22,000 on average as most that hit the streets in the US were battle damaged. This is a WWII military piece of history and I cannot bring myself to junk it. BUT I could sell the frame, transmission, transfer case and axles and scrap the rest and make $800, I just don’t have the time to put into the restore while working 60-70 hours a week.
