About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1964 Willys M38A1 Military Jeep for sale. Body off frame restoration, new top, new military tires, and new seat covers. Comes as a package deal with 1/4 ton trailer: two new tires, new canvas trailer cover and total restoration. This vehicle is in great shape… you have to see it to believe it!!”
This runs, but needs some body work. It looks pretty darn stock though.
“Willys Jeep, model M38A1. She runs but needs quite a bit of body work. Been sitting for a while now and needs batteries but with a little love, this would be a perfect hunting partner. I do not have the specifics but I think it was built in 1953, plus or minus a couple of years.”

This car is a blast to drive! It rides great, handles well. All it needs is a new owner. Will consider trades for machine tools. Ie: lathes, verticle and horizontal mills, metal shears, pan and box brakes, shop equipment, trailers, gooseneck or bumper pull in the 14-18k gvwr range. Flatbeds, tiltdecks, or dump. Also, bobcats, dozers, backhoes, loaders, or tractors as long as they’re of a minimum value of 12k. If more pictures are needed, drop me an email address, and I will send some to you.”
“this 48 has a 327 small block chevy, camel hump heads, eldelbrock carb and intake. 4 speed , newer axles, relocated stearing box, tilt wheel. larger gas tank, runs strong. a great old jeep”
(09/06/2010) In many respects this looks good, but there were a couple issues that caught my eye. The rear bumper is strangely bent downwards and in the front, a cross piece has been welded on top of the frame and the driver’s side frame rail has been welded and drilled. So, I’d check this frame out closely as it has some miles on it.
“Here is a 1952 Willys Jeep CJ3A painted in military era green with the original flathead 4 cylinder. This vehicle has been mechanically restored and rebuilt. It runs very well, shifts great, and starts on the first try ever single time. Restoration includes:

“Ford built WWII Army Jeep which has a great body but not the original engine. It is not driveable and does not run. If it’s posted here it’s still for sale.”
As you can probably guess, I didn’t quite get to updates this morning .. soooooo, I shall do them tonight. However, I’m sure you’ll feel better knowing that most of my garage is now packed and cleaned!
