About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(03/08/2011) It looks like it’s been stored a while.

(03/18/2011) It runs and is supposed to have little rust. Might be a good deal.
“I have a 1952 Willys M38 Jeep for sale. Great project, has the original flat head 4 cylinder engine which still runs, not much rust, tub is in good shape, comes with 2 different rollbars and extra parts.”
(02/27/2011) Lots of customization to this flattie.
“Flat Fender Willy’s Jeep. 350 Chevy engine, headers, Edelbrock carb and intake, aluminum radiator, Accel electronic ignition, runs very strong. TH350 Chevy automatic transmission mated to what I believe is a Toyota aluminum transfer case with a Downey adapter. I believe the front and rear axles, frame, and steering to be Toyota also. Power brakes, nearly new 36×12.5×15 TSL Super Swamper radials on Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels. The tires still have the nubs on them. It has a Bestop soft top only, Simpson harnesses, Mallory gauges and electric fuel pump. I’m not sure how much lift this thing has, but the frame rails are about 24” above the ground, it has a trailer hitch. It has an older paint job and there is bondo cracking especially where they molded in the flares and hood scoop. This Jeep is titled as a 1998 assembled vehicle. $5900or possible trades for old school Harley, rat rod, hot rod, ’70-72 Chevy 4×4 short bed, ???? Reply to this ad with pics. Trade value must be equal or higher than my cash price, will negotiate for cash. I have a second ’47 Willys rock crawler that I would be willing to sell or add to the deal, email for pics/details. I ended up with both of them and am not a Jeep guy. Thanks for looking.”
Thanks to Brian for spotting this video. Though the music overshadows the narrator in many instances, there are a wide variety of images presented that make it work a look.
“Large collection of Jeep willys, CJ, YJ and TJs Die Cast all different scale, some rare and old. Some Tonka, Hot Wheels, Matchbox. Must sell don’t have room for them anymore. Must see.”
“1947 Jeep CJ2A, Includes everything in the pictures. Motor not in vehicle, but is original motor. Clear title and current plates. Project vehicle that needs a lot of work. Price: $800 / Best offer?”
Carl wants to sell his good looking CJ-7 so he can purchase a flattie.
“This is my pride and joy. 1976 CJ7 4X4 with a quadratrac transfer case with high and low range. I started with a 76 cj7, took it down to the frame and started restoring. I spent 3 years building this jeep, invested tons of money and countless hours. I am only selling due to financial reasons.
All parts were cleaned, primed, painted, replaced or upgraded. The jeep is painted single stage John Deere yellow with Gun Metal Grey trim. Paint is excellent and just over a year old.(There are a few small cracks) Ready to go another 35 years. This jeep was designed for reliability. It has power steering and manual brakes. Manual brakes work excellent, no need to upgrade to power they work so well. The engine sound very solid and does not smoke. It had to have been rebuilt not so long ago. Transmission shifts smooth.
Will need a horn relay, the stereo hooked up and speakers, clock does not work. I would move the emergency drive switch from the glove box to the center consol. The glove box door hits the roll cage when trying to open. I have a few extra parts to go with it.
The top is gray and the doors are black. The top is not the newest but it works just fine…. view more description on eBay”
“46′ willies flat fender, has a v-6 conversion, original 3 spd. and dual stick transfer case, floors a little rough, body straight, nice solid frame and running gear”
