About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Jim, who is from Canada, is seeking a Willys swap meet in the upper Michigan area. Anyone know of any?
“I’m looking for info about Willys swap meets in upper Michigan or close to the border on your side. I can’t find anything on this side of the border. Two or three hours on your side would be great.”
“looking for 2 14″ rims for my late 60’s dispatcher. Willing to pay a fair price depending on shipping. Standard 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. call 320-223-2488 or email”
As I was looking for a picture of Indian Uprising’s engine, I came across this flyer. As the flyer indicates, it was a special gathering of old racers and racing jeeps. I thought this was a fun idea and thought the PNW4WDA might think about that (or maybe they already have).
“Overdrive was in my 59 Willys for 2 years, approx 2000 miles on it. Planetary unit with everything needed to install; gasket, bolts, shifter, literature w/ instructions.”
“I have 2 Olds and 1 Buick all aluminum 215 V8 engines. All are 2 bbl manifolds. I have 2 bellhousings, a flywheel and clutch and also a flex plate for an automatic. Please e-mail or call for more details. If you call and I am unable to answer for some reason, I will call you back if you leave a message. Call Mark @ 303-378-0261 These engines weigh around 300 lbs each complete and are good for Willys Jeep, MG or MGB or some kind of hot rod or rat rod. I want to sell eveything all together. Not interested in trades at this time, cash only”

“This is a partially restored 1956 Willy’s M38A1(similar to CJ-5) It was modified significantly from original by the previous owner. I started refurbishing it to running condition again and have lost the interest and time to work on it. There is no engine, the motor mounts are set up for a small block Chevy. Included but not pictured is the rebuilt T-90 3 speed tranny and transfer case, and un-restored hood, grill, fenders, dashboard, windshield, rollbar, radiator, seats. Accessories for a small block chevy engine and several boxes of the old parts. It has current Non-Op CA Title. Asking $1000 OBO.”
