Unclear if the numbers match, but this sure looks like a good price on a nice GPW. It’s not a perfect restoration.
“1942 FORD JEEP MILITARY JEEP NEW IN SIDE AND OUT NU MOTOR DRIVE IT HOME”
This appears to be a collection of Jeep parts, probably based around a CJ-3A.
“For sale: 1940s to 1950’s Jeep. Rebuilt Ford 260 C4 transmission. Lots of new parts. Over $6000 invested. Asking $3000. Call 603 491 0731.”
UPDATE: A reader named Frank bought this Wagon.
This might make a good parts wagon at the very least.
“1951 Willys jeep, hurricane 6 cylinder engine, no title”
This might make a good restoration project.

It looks nice. It appears the drain holes at the steps have been eliminated.
“looks like new with new reams and tires, 4cy. flat head”
This doesn’t look too bad for $1600.
