Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. All this jeep needs is all fluid change, new master cylinder ($78 @JC witney) and carb rebuild kit ($80 @JC witney) and front barrings replaced everything else is in great condition. Updated steering column from a chev corvair. Shackle lift and 1″ body lift sitting on 33″ tires. Bucket seats newer leather top … COMES WITH BIKINI top with HALF DOORS!!!!!!! If you are intreasted please call or contact me I want this jeep to go to a home where its appreciated for what its worth. Here’s an early slat grille for auction. These don’t appear often. At this point, the price is already $600 +. Someone had the cojones to offer only $100 for this (see the questions at the bottom of the auction page).
“Original TR-20 bolt stamped slat grill. Came off my 1941 MB (No glove box, script Willys) Only ever had one can. Great shape, no rust- some original wiring, clips and hood gasket left in place for type/period matching. One of the first 25,000 grills ever produced. Never restored, messed with, original OD paint underneath. Some minor bends (easily fixed), one slat loose at top. This grill is is really, really great shape if you want all original parts for your restoration. These do not come up for auction very often at all. I will not give it away, but reserve is appropriately low. A great chance for a rare and special part. Don’t miss out. I would rather see it go to someone who knows what this part really means!”

“1951 WILLYS CJ3A ORIGINAL CONDITION. 132 FLAT FOUR 3 SPEED. THE JEEP IS A BEAST , IT IS 99% ORIGINAL AND IN FAIR CONDITION. LIKE ALL OLD WILLYS , IT HAS HAD A FEW RUST REPAIRS OVER THE YEARS, BUT THE BODY IS ALL THERE AND SOLID. THE FRAME IS GREAT NO ROT ONLY SURFACE RUST. THE JEEP TURNS OVER FINE, BUT NEEDS A FUEL PUMP TO RUN. IT WILL RUN OFF A FUEL BOTTLE TO THE CARB. YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WHEEL BOLTS, THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW HOW LONG THIS JEEP SAT BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. TON OF NEW PARTS, PLUGS , WIRES , CAP , POINTS, …………..”

“This old jeep runs and drives! It’s licensed with new plates and has new none directional tires with less than 50 miles on them. I had the carb rebuilt a month ago. Still needs a little fine tune. I have a tow bar that fits it great so if you have a two inch ball on your truck your ready to pull it home. The old jeep also has a new battery. I’m open to trade for old rat rods,model a truck or coupe,or old cushmans. I’m not really looking for much else, cash is always best. My very best price is 2,900 firm. Please keep in mind it runs and drives and has license now! and the tires with mounting for none directional are expensive”l
