These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This jeep is not street legal but does have a registration. Willy’s truck frame, 231 v-6, mustang top loader 4 spd transmission, one piece tilting fiberglass race body in the narrow flat fender style. Raced in pacific northwest 4 wheel drive association events (go to pnw4wda.org website to see pictures of races). Asking $4200.00 ready to race and some extra parts (drivelines, axels, tires)”

There have been some mods, but otherwise this looks in pretty decent shape.

This is right over the hill from me. I really don’t know how rare these are, but I could run and pick it up if someone’s interested in it.
“Hard to find single rib Willys bell housing for 4 Cylinder L-Head (CJ2A, MB, GPW Jeep). I removed this from my GPW. It’s in good shape with no cracks. It will bolt up to a T90 and T84 transmission. It’s for the CJ2A jeep or early flat fenders. It includes the original inspection cover. Somebody drilled another drain hole in the bottom (see photo).”

For that 4×4 collector that has almost everything?
“You are bidding on a very hard to find 1977 UAZ 469-B, 4X4, Ex- Russian Military Jeep VIN# 203815. The 2.5 L gasoline motor with only 40,000 KM runs very good. It has a 4-speed manual transmission with a high, neutral and low range transfer case. These trucks are rugged and simple 4X4’s, very popular in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.”

“1951 CJ3A, original 4 cyl, runs,good shape,hat bars are sound,but body and floor not perfect, new seats, 12 volt converted, includes extras, overdrive (needs rebuilt), large box of spare parts”
Yeah, it appears there’s some rust. But, if it runs well, this may be a good find for someone.

“I am selling my 76 CJ 6. Runs great 258, t-3, Dana 44 rear, Power Steer. Lots of new parts, clean OR title, new tune up. Hard top, hard doors. Not abused, straight frame, some rust 2500.00”
This appears to be a great deal on a late model CJ-3B.

This seller is parting out a 1942 GPW frame for $50 (though the pictures show the axles, they are no longer there). Separately, he’s also selling the engine $150 and the tranny/tc $250. If you are collecting GPW parts, this might be worth checking out. It sounds the seller is looking to get this out of the drive way.
The Frame Ad:
“1942 Willys GPW frame for sale. Need to sell to get it out of my yard. Would rather have it go to a jeep lover than the scrap guy. $50 bucks and it is all yours. The engine, transmission and axles are NOT included just the frame (sorry old pictures they are not attached now). Get back to me to set up a time to see it.”

“Engine block from 1942 Ford GPW with the bell housing all original and ready to sell at $150. It needs a Willys jeep lover to work on it but will be worth it. Come by and take a look.”
The Tranny/TC Ad:
“Willys 1942 GPW transmission shifts smoothly all original, this needs a good home not my garage. Come on by and take a look then take it home. $250 and it is yours. Original Willy’s rebuilt ones cost $750 and up, the case alone is $200 for a reproduction one. Get back to me to set up a time to see it.”
