This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a 1953, the body is CJ-2A and the frame appears to have CJ-2A front frame horns. This also has a single lever PTO.

I believe this to be a Kelly-branded Braden PTO winch. I think the seller means this is for a Dana 18 transfercase.

“I have a 1949 CJ3A Jeep for sale. It runs and drives, has a blue bonded title. I got the parts to start the brakes, but haven’t installed them yet. It’s not a rust bucket and would be fine on a ranch as-is, but it needs work. It would be a fun project for someone who has the room and the mechanical ability for a do it yourself project. I am firm on the price.”

“1948 Willys. 4 cylinder motor runs great, already converted to 12V system. New brakes, fuel tank, carb, all lights work. Starts and drives. 4WD works. Needs cosmetics. Just put $5K into servicing the vehicle, had something else come up. You don’t find many of these around. Put some new rubber on her and drive her anywhere. Ask me for a short video of her running”

A set up Dualmatic-style two-lever hubs appeared for sale on Facebook the other day. What made this set unique was that the hubs were private labeled for Kelly Manufacturing. It’s the first set I’ve seen with Kelly’s information on it. I doubt there are many other hubs bearing these stickers.
This shouldn’t be too big of shock, as Kelly also private labeled Kayline tops for sale in the late 1950s. And, of course, Dualmatic was offering to private label their hubs for Sears, Allstate, and other entities.

This rare Parmley-Bodied sold quickly on Facebook. Not many of these around and even fewer with a hardtop.
