About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep cj5 hardtop w doors. Came off of a 1963 willys jeep cj5
Should fit 1955-1970 something.
Has some rust on back corners. Drivers door has some rust on bottom. “
“This is a titled 1947 Jeep. It has a M38 body and engine. This Jeep runs but currently has the fuel tank out since the tank it came with when I got it was for a CJ2A. I have a brand new M38 tank to install. I have also replaced three of the four brakes (cylinders and pads) and have the forth one plus master cylinder on hand. I just haven’t had time to install it. This sale will include both fuel tanks and the remaining brake parts and every thing you see in the photos and the spare M38 engine. This is a project jeep with straight body with no rust”
“I have a cool project Willys High hood. Comes with a lot of new and rebuilt parts. I will try to get more pictures.
Rebuilt front and rear axles, rebuilt automatic 350 transmission, new front disc brakes, new rear brakes, new rear driveline, new expensive gauges, power steering, power brakes, and new wiring harness. Cool new shifter, that looks like a tall stick shift. The body is in pretty nice condition. I have nice front seats for it.it has a tilt column in it. The engine is a 283 V8 that I drove, prior to taking it out of another Willys.”
“I have a 1942 Hobart welder. On a custom made trailer, a Willie’s motor and it welds great but has a loose wire connection. The trailer is worth 1000 by itself no loballers”

Morihisa Ochi posted this photo on FB of a GPW in Nagasaki after the Atomic Bomb. The top is interesting. According to him, “GPW in Nagasaki, Occupied Japan 1945 After a big factory near Ground Zero was blown off by Atomic Bomb, USMC used this area as a rifle range.”
Looks like a good price. It does not have a title.
“A 1952 4WD Willys Jeep CJ3a. Nice “Elvis” inspired paint job. Body, frame, and floors all excellent. 4 cyl, 3 speed, Goodyear tires, chrome wheels, lockout hubs, good brakes, good clutch, rollbar. Former farm vehicle comes with original VIN plate and Bill of Sale. Too old for Title.”
“It is a 1952 Willys Jeep that has been used for deer hunting since 1978 when my father
bought it. There is no title, he never transferred it when he bought it and
now has lost the documents. The jeep has some rust spots as you can see in
the pictures. My dad added 4 gun mounts on it. He replaced the engine in
about 1980. The engine runs well.”
Looks in very good shape. A price is listed in the ad, but I’m sure it is I just a place holder. Auction ends 11/28.
