This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: As JoeB points out (and I missed), the van is an Economy 2WD Deliver Chassis with a Montpelier body conversion (vs. the Boyer version).

Several folks shared this photo with me. It was published by Paul Swanson on Facebook. HIs family used to own the dealership. The fourth vehicle in the row looks to be an unusual model of the economy/package/delivery van. You’ll note it lacks front hubs, suggesting it was 2WD. Paul dates the photo to 1957, but to me the FC-150 on the left and the first FC-150 in the row of jeeps look like they are not narrow tracks, which would put the photo later than 1957. Moreover, I cannot find any ads for Park Jeep earlier than the summer of 1958.
Paul indicated that he will post better images of the van.
From the February 02, 1960, issue of the Minneapolis Star. Strangely, I could not locate any ads earlier than the summer of 1958. So, it’s unclear to me when the dealership opened. You’ll note this ad mentions an Economy van; maybe the one in the pic above never sold.
This photo was published in the November 21, 1942, issue of the Los Angeles Times. It shows the convoy of a Russian antitank outfit.

“1943 World War II military jeep. Clean clear California title with no back fees. It’s all stock except for the small Block Ford V8 that runs excellent. It also has hanging petals with hydraulic brake and clutch master cylinder. This is a great little run around hot rod Jeep that could easily be a candidate for a full restoration or Rockcrawler build. Or just leave it the way it is and have a great time. If you don’t think this is a great deal, then it probably isn’t the deal for you ?  It has all of the hard stuff to find. Nine slot military grill with the stock headlights and headlight brackets. Tool boxes with latches in the back of the tub. Hood without Willys on it. The correct windshield frame. The stock high-capacity gas tank etc. (I will not be available to show this vehicle until Tuesday, December 29. This will be first come first serve in person cash sale.”

Has a variety of updates. The outside has a bed-liner.

Kyle’s got his rebuild CJ-5 for sale.
“F134, T90,Dana18, 5:38 gears, I bought this 2 years ago at auction. Since then did a full body off frame restoration. Rust free Frame, body has minor rust by drain plugs & rear body mounts. Rebuilt the T90. New complete Exhaust & muffler. It has 30” 15×7.5 Coker tires with spare. New gas tank Solex carburetor but i do have the Carter YF. Myers Hardtop W/ doors but still work in progress. Farmers Draw Bar hitch Seats i made myself. 8 extra 15” wheels I do have extra axles. One from a CJ7 & (2) 1966 CJ5 4:88 axles, covered in snow. It is Titled & has insurance. Price is a bit high, only reason theres high demand for Jeeps. I am flexible on price. Drop me a DM.”

It turns over, but doesn’t start at the moment. The Kelly hardtop looks to me to be the Custom Full Cab, rather than a Safari top.

This Jeep is actually a CJ6 safari edition. It has a pto pinch with snow plow attachment. I don’t have the plow. The engine turns over but don’t start due to the fuel system being disconnected to be cleaned. Just don’t have time to finish it.”
A solid GPW, but not quite all original and has some replacement parts.
