“Cj2 Willys on an early land-cruiser fj40 chassis. Body has burned but is all there. No paperwork on anything”
This looks to be a CJ-3A (the rubber seal around the edge of the windshield is one clue) with a Worman hardtop. Emily Osborne owns both the jeep and the farm.

“Emily Osborne works an eighty acre farm north of Albert Lea; she is shown here checking the oil in her jeep.”
John shared this video. It shows the first landing of troops in Burma on the island of Akyab. Jeeps (looks like all Willys MBs) only appear in the first 16 seconds of the video.
This second video gives more of an overview (with narration) of the same landing force, which arrived unopposed (no jeeps).
Looks like a good rig. The drains holes have been covered (they are visible from the interior of the jeep).

Given the shape, the grille-protector(?) looks like it could have been built for a Commando Jeepster.

“This jeep has seen better years cosmetically and mechanically but still a sought after vehicle. Good steel, no rot we can see. Motor was rebuilt about 20 years ago give er take a few but there was def an issue still and it was parked for long term. Vehicle is located in Weaverville, California. I have no idea mileage or exactly what’s wrong with it owner passed many years ago and unfortunately the bulk information on it passed as well. Great deal for a restoration jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD**? Was $9000
(01/27/2021) Listed as a 1967, it looks to be a post 1972 CJ-6.
