About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1960s Auburn Trencher that will cut 12″ wide and up to 10′. Bracket on back will attach to Willys Jeep. This is not a show piece and will need some work to get it functional, but all the pieces are there. There is an awful lot of steel so it could be worth scrapping. We can work out delivery if needed.”
“For sale I have I believe a 1964 willys cj5 tuxedo park with 15000 original mileage. This was purchased from the original owner. I had this running a couple years ago it ran great the dauntless v6 ran great and it drove good. The trencher worked just as it should. It is equipped with a half cab that is in great shape. There is some small spots of surface rust here or there but it Is rock solid no rot. The trencher has been on since day one I have the tailgate that was removed to install it. Along with the jeep I have a ton of spare trencher parts there is almost enough to build a second trencher minus the boom. I have no clue what this is worth I don’t want to give it away if interested message me and we can talk.”
“For sale late sixties CJ5 Auburn Jeep A Trench 1968? Would make a great yard truck/ Plow Jeep, comes with dirt plow and snow plow. Starts, runs good and drives , clutch feels good , no brakes . Body’s kinda rough but frame looks pretty good . Havent had a chance to go over it well to check everything but seems to be pretty complete , missing one of the augers. PTO engages and shaft spins . Not very familiar with these units so will try my best to answer any questions. Looks complete enough to restore or get going and use as is, or would be a great parts donor for another Auburn Trencher unit. Front counter weight there ,as is the creeper gear , pto assembly, Fhead motor, overload springs ( Canfields or Koenigs ?) etc Too many Jeeps to work on this one needs a new home $2800 Feel free to call, text, or email for details , I will try my best to answer all questions. If I miss your call (very loud at work) I will return the call”
This was published around 1950. It’s less story and more marketing, but still interesting. The argument that the trencher doesn’t affect the roadability of the jeep might be a stretch ….
(12/04/2017) Ted’s selling this CJ-5. I estimate it to be around mid 1968, but that’s just a guess based on the serial number.
