After closer inspection this looks in good shape, despite the crazy body.

UPDATE: This is now priced at $2400 on Craigslist.
(01/16/2012) This is unusual.

Wayne spotted this unusual frankenjeep.
“1940’s Willys jeep truck not exactly sure what year it is,would be a good restoration project, 6 cylinder flat head engine In it wouldn’t take much to get the engine running, just body and interior work”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $850.
Here’s an odd one. Was this a CJ-6?
“1962 Jeep Willys with clear title, runs good, may need starter, will need break work, has dump box needs hyd. comes with an extra set of tires, 4×4 works good.
would make a great mud truck, wood hauler, mule or 4×4 golf cart project.
$850.00 O.B.O will trade for chevy truck or good mpg car.”
On Saturday Buz stopped by the Good Guys Hot Rod show at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. He saw some cool vehicles and took some pictures of them for us. Thanks Buz!
Buz reports that the makers of these bags are waiting for approval from Jeep to produce this tool bag. He says everyone there wanted to buy this one prototype.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
“1950 Willy’s Jeepster Rat Rod setting on a 2001 S10 chassis. Chevy 350 cid, th350 transmission, 7.5″/7.625″ GM rear end with 4.56 gears. Suspension is set up for air bags. Range Rover air bags in the front. Rear ones were leaking so I pulled them and installed shocks and springs. Compressor and all hardware I have goes with it. Runs great! Eye catcher where ever it goes!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
This cj-5 is a little different.
“1957 willys jeep with plow new tires new paint looks and runs great”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000
Brian pointed out that this crazy vehicle is still available. It is a 4wd vehicle and I recognize the frame as from a Willys frame, but I recognize little else.
“1951 Willys Rat Rod. Willys 4-wheel drive frame & drive train. 350 Chevy engine with hooker headers. Custom exhaust; new chrome rims with new tires. Custom-built roadster body with oak pickup box. Bikini top & custom roll bar. $6,000.00”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200.
Can’t say I’ve seen anything quite like this mod.
“Classic 1948 Jeep CJ3A. Mostly original, including motor. 12V conversion, saginaw steering. Always garaged. 42,000 original miles. 3rd owner. No rust, never wrecked. You won’t find a cleaner original 1948 jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Assuming the data plate belongs to this jeep, I’d guess this jeep to be a late ’46 at the earliest — not that it really matters given the custom mods.
“NO TITLE NOT SURE IF IT WAS BUILD BY SOMEBODY OR IT IS ORGINAL WITH THE BED.WHEN I BOUGHT IT THE OLDER GENTELMAN SAID IT IS A 1945 BUT I’M NOT SURE WHAT YEAR IT IS IT’S AROUND THAT YEAR FOR SURE.
