About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The seller provides a long, detailed list about this jeep. It also includes a food storage box (grub box). I think that is a custom top.
“It has a 4-speed gearbox with the lowest gear ratio of 6:1. The 4-cylinder, 2.3 liter Ford engine was rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. The Saturn overdrive was rebuilt about 1,500 miles ago. It was purchased by the current non-smoking owner in 1977 and complete maintenance records are included. The jeep is fully operational, licensed through January 2012 and can be driven as is . . . visit the bay ad to learn more.”
UPDATE: Was $8000. **SOLD** Looks like it has a Muller Top.

“I have had this Jeep for the past 18 years and am the second owner. It is in very good shape being a Calif. vehicle all of its life WITH NO RUST. The 3B is in very good condition but not a “show car” it does have a few bumps and bruises but NEVER BEEN ABUSED. The 3B is very capable off road and I have been to such places as Moab UT, Rubicon Trail in CA, Ducey Trail CA, Pismo Beach, Dumont Dunes and numerous other trail in CA, UT, AZ. The 3B will stay with the newer CJ5, Wrangler, and any other 4×4 off road, 4×4, rock crawling or in the sand dunes ( I just wish I had paddle tires at times ) …”

Everything works great just had carb and ignition tuned. Body is fiberglass. Asking $6500, but price is negotiable. Will possibly consider trade for toyota fj 60 or other toyota landcruisers”
UPDATE: This now lives on the East Coast. I got to examine it up close at the 2013 Bantam Festival. The work is excellent. It was bought for $9000. It has more of a surrey look to it now.
I used the IMCDb.org site to attempt to locate an image of the jeep to the right from a shot in the movies. You can see a DJ-3A from Blue Hawaii (not a very good shot). Or the same shot enhanced and cropped to the left. Here’s a link to a shot of the Nutty Professor’s DJ-3A.
This flat fender (the one on the right) falls into the ‘unusual jeep’ category. Apparently, it’s a movie star!
