This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. For $1500, there could be some value here in parts.
“42 willys flat fender. This is a project vehicle, it has a mid 60s 327 that will turn over but I never got started. Has bigger front and rear ends. Fiber glass tilt front end. Aluminum wheels and nice tires.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6250. As Muley notes, and I completely missed, this is 2WD. The engine and radiator suggests 2A, but the front frame rails have been modified, so those are no help in identifying it. The axle might be DJ, but it is five lug. So, appears a mix of parts based on the pics.

“Willy’s Jeep 1953. Has a dauntless V6 in it with a manual transmission and is four wheel drive. Has been customized and stretched. This is a project and could be very cool. Located in coopersburg Pennsylvania 18036. Has a clean title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
Listed as a 1942, the indents and gas inlet suggest it might be a VEC CJ-2A. It has a Bobcat fiberglass hood.

“One pc front clip for pre 1972 CJ-5. Grill fenders, hood all in one. Good shape not perfect , inner fenders included, comes with hardware to keep the fender tails tightly secured to the cowl. This is the quality thinkness for a driver jeep not the ultra thin racing version.
The new retail price for these is 850$ and that’s without the grill.
Also fits the cowl line of CJ-7, CJ-6 CJ-8 scrambler, willys, M38-A1, DJ-5, disbatch, postal, Jeepster Commando and wrangler YJ but some mods might be necessary install on these Jeeps”
This CJ-5 has been rebuild with a fiberglass body and tilt hood.

“First time here. I have a CJ5 1960 that is “fresh”. Fiberglass tub and also front clip. So many new parts but everything is new.
Tires, brakes (including nickel lines, Wheel cylinders, Shoes, Stainless flex lines and master cylinder), All Glass, Both seats, Steering wheel, USB Speedometer, plastic 16 gal fuel cell, LED headlights, One wire Alternator, New Carb, New Distributor, new Aluminum radiator, All electrical ( my own DYI), Soft doors on the half cab( I tried), Rough Rider Springs and Shocks (2 1/2 lift). Adorable Half Cab. It has a Satin Red wrap and metal rear corners. This was a “winter project” and I just kept buying new pieces. I am not professional and more of a DYI with a love for cars. It has a “sticky” clutch that seems to work when it wants to. The engine is stock except for the carb, distributor, alternator and radiator. I drove it 60 miles yesterday home from the barn it has been in since finished.”
