About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“New never mounted KenTroll fiberglass CJ2A body. Includes tub , hood and pair of fenders only.$3500 or best offer. Pick up only. Wadsworth Ohio. May consider local delivery with cash paid purchase?”
TJ shared this unusual body with a unique dash. I can’t remember seeing this type of body. The transom appears extra wide, too, though that might be just an optical illusion. No description provided.
Here’s an interesting piece of history. According to the story, it is a promotion build Hurst Customs did for jeep. It’s unclear to me how many of these were made.
“A freaky Front Clip for sale – who is interested in a bit of Jeep mystery and history?
This front clip is from a promotional build Hurst Customs did for Jeep ..this was the time they partnered on the rare Hurst Jeepsters. I bought what came to be nicknamed the “Green Weenie” in early 1972 as the first retail owner from a Detroit dealer who got it from AMC — who had no interest in using it for promotions as intended….as they were scrambling to redesign the CJ5 anyway.
I would love to have someone use this fiberglass custom frontend to recreate either the bright green Hurst Jeep as pictured or use it for your custom build! It bolts onto a 71 or earlier CJ5 and I bet Jeepsters….i still have the Jeep but removed the front clip and stored over 30 years ago as I set up the Jeep to run the Rubicon.
Asking $3,000 front clip and side pipes. In Michigan but can be shipped pretty easily.
My impression is that AJ’s bodies had more of a standard step. The steps on this body are more similar to the Bobcat/Parkette designs. However, I think this is similar to some other bodies built in the midwest by a yet-unidentified manufacturer years ago (probably some entrepreneur or small shop).

If you ever wanted to race in the NORRA Mexican 1000 this is your chance in a real car from the period not a clone, tribute,or fake. Serious inquiries only !!! This is a project !!!”
Listed as a 1952, it’s not clear if this is actually a 3A or a CJ-3B chassis (or something else). The body looks to be a very rare Parkette CJ-3B body kit.
“Cj3b, high hood, 350 chev. Holly hi rise, weber carb, accel hei, turbo 400, b&m, cj5 running gear, everything underneath is rebuilt
Painless wire kit, best top safari top in great shape, l have a brand new extra passenger door, new seats moved back4″,tilt steering, all gauges work, 12 gallon gas tank, new warn hubs, new rear driveline, never wheeled, stored inside
I have driven from Prineville to Portland numerous times. $11000. The only trade would be a very nice Dual Sport.”
For $1500, there could be some value here in parts.
“42 willys flat fender. This is a project vehicle, it has a mid 60s 327 that will turn over but I never got started. Has bigger front and rear ends. Fiber glass tilt front end. Aluminum wheels and nice tires.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6250. As Muley notes, and I completely missed, this is 2WD. The engine and radiator suggests 2A, but the front frame rails have been modified, so those are no help in identifying it. The axle might be DJ, but it is five lug. So, appears a mix of parts based on the pics.
(02/26/2023) This has a fiberglass body with a solid back and a fiberglass front clip.
“Had this jeep running about 4 years ago. Probably will need some work would be a nice project for someone. It is a collectors item I did lose the key to it. Very sturdy Frame no rust always have been shed kept. Will accept reasonable offers. not sure what the miles are exactly”
“Willy’s Jeep 1953. Has a dauntless V6 in it with a manual transmission and is four wheel drive. Has been customized and stretched. This is a project and could be very cool. Located in coopersburg Pennsylvania 18036. Has a clean title.”
