About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The seller of the body has thrown in a running CJ-3A for combo price of $2500. I have to say, I’d really like this combo. I think that’s a good price.
“1952 jeep. runs and drives.comes with new fiberglass body. $2500.00 or maybe make an offer? teach the kids how to drive.family resto project, who knows”
This has a fiberglass body and a variety of updates.

“1946 Cj2a willys jeep. Runs very good, motor has been freshly rebuilt. it has a fiberglass body, hood, and fenders, so no more rust…It will need seats.. Also has new exhaust.. frame is in great shape.”
(07/01/2009) This has a fiberglass tilt front clip and a fiberglass body. It could use a paint job at the very least.
“This willys has a fiberglass body w/ tilt front end, 350 4 bolt main, 350 turbo transmission auto. w/ 4wd , power brakes, power steering, tilt steering wheel, stewart warner gauges.”
“This is a fiberglass tub that was never installed. It will fit a 1976-1983 Jeep CJ5. Include “glass tub” in your subject line. Asking $800.00 OBO. Thanks for looking.”
I’m not sure if this runs or not. It does have a bobcat fiberglass hood though.
“The is a project that could be really cool….. It comes with a new body, new 36″ TSL’s, centered dana 44 rear with lockright, dana 35 front with lockright, 3 racing style seats, painless wiring harness, new aluminum radiator, soft top with doors, and a few other things. The price is $2800”
This has an unusual approach to creating a dash for a fiberglass body.
“Selling my ’51 cj. It has a 225 v6, original t90 3 speed transmission, spicer 18 transfer case, dana 44 rear axle. The front axle is an upgraded dana 30. Everything works great just had carb and ignition tuned. Body is fiberglass. Asking $6500, but price is negotiable. Will possibly consider trade for toyota fj 60 or other toyota landcruisers”
“I am selling a jeep 1967 cj5. It is a very rare tuxedo mark 4 model. Lets be clear this jeep needs some work. The brakes are untested. I had it running this summer and has some new parts on it. It has a fiberglass tub and front end. dauntless v6 with a saganaw 4 speed trans. I never drove it on the road and can not guarantee anything. I bought it from a garage as abandoned and do not have a title for it. frame looks good tires are shot. top is old, but is in ok condition. Justin 717-424-7462”
“I am selling my 1948 CJ2A Willy’s Jeep. Its two wheel drive with a ford 9 inch rear end Turbo 400 transmission with trans cooler and a Chevy Crate motor that make 350 Horse Power, a hand made Continental Radiator that can handle a big block, as well as the engine compartment as well all made to take a Chevy big block. Coil over suspension, 3 link in the back and a 4 link in the front with a solid postal front end. Custom ice chest and storage bin for easy access and all of your gear. The fiber glass body is unfinished but that allows you to customize it to your own design and color. The roll cage is mounted to the frame, and the wheel base has been extended to make the ride more smooth in the sand, I have had it on a few trips and it runs great. I have a set of Street Tires BFG’s and a full set of Sand Tires as well. I would like to sell it all together so please make me an offer as the season is starting. I also have a willy’s front windshield that would be included if you want to retro fit it. Clear title and paid registration”
One day a while back I got an email from a new reader named Jan. She spotted a CJ-5 sitting in a field for $500 and had a question about the VIN# and the model. We solved the VIN question and then I learned more about how Jan acquired this Jeep.
Jan wrote, “I really didn’t buy it, just offered to get it off his farm. He had a sign on it for $500.00 or best offer. All my friends are laughing at me and indicating it’s the uglist thing they ever saw…… but I fell in love with it!”
After bartering for the Jeep, Jan managed to sell the plow locally, which meant she was actually up a few hundred dollars. However, the body was so bad she knew she had to replace it, so she located a fiberglass tub for cheap in Indiana. She has also found a local mechanic that verified the frame was in good condition and the engine should restore easily. So, hopefully, next spring Jan will be driving around in a “free” jeep. Congrats Jan!
“Posting for a friend. These will need a minor amount of work, nothing major. I do not know exactly what year or model these fit, but appear to be early CJ?. They are 36 1/2″ overall length from the firewall to the front tip of the fender. As you can clearly see in the pics these are molded for a rounded tapered hood and the fender tips roll down in front. So these cannot possibly fit the older flat fender jeeps. I have spent hours looking on the internet to find out more info for actual dimensions. If this ad is up they are available. Please no calls after 10pm. Leave mssg and I will get back to you asap. Scott 503-668-8771”
This might be a good deal if you need to replace your CJ-7 body.
“Have a complete new fiberglass body, from the 1 piece front end to rear of the tub, including the windshield frame, body mounting kit, throttle bracket, and How To CD. Also have a 1986 Laredo rusty smashed tub with a Clear AZ title and some other misc parts laying around I’ll throw in. Just the fiberglass would cost you about $2200 plus shipping and tax, I’m thinking a value of around $1500. Looking for a used #7000 car hauler type trailer, tractors, military vehicles, short or long guns, vertical milling machine. Just starting a Willys CJ3B project. Open to most anything. Kind of taking up inside storage space, so I would like to see it on a trailer leaving the yard, before the next project starts taking up space.”
