Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/02/2015) Has a few updates.
“49 Willy’s Jeep for sale. Has newer ohv Willy’s engine 3 speed trans, front disc brakes, 8000 lbs winch, hard top. Call or text $5000 or make offer.”
This could only be viewed on Saturday the 1st of August. However, the auction completes on August 3rd. The jeep is listed as a 1947, but the serial number suggests it is a 1946.

Both look interesting. You don’t find many M-38s with heaters on the cowl.

“1958 CJ-5, very good mostly original condition. F-134 motor runs excellent, mechanically sound. Solid body with steel Koenig half cab (I do have the doors, just took them off for the summer). 60/40 bench seat. Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking.”

Snow plow works great. Hydraulics up and down. Has Jeep hydraulic pump that runs off of engine belt. ”
Given the half top, there seems to be value. Starting bid is $900.
“I am selling a 1954 Willys Jeep. Jeep is in need of work to get it running but many original parts are included. Jeep has plow frame but no plow. Frame is in good shape. What you see in the pictures is what you get with the jeep. Tires are flat so buyer is responsible for transporting jeep from location. Jeep has original title.”
