Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This jeep includes a rare Blue Star Hardtop.
“1952 Willy Jeep CJ3A 4×4, 4 cyl, standard, fold down windshield, has towbar, and spare tire. It comes with an aluminum hard top and soft door frames. I don’t know if it was factory or aftermarket.
Was told that it ran 5 years ago. I couldn’t get it to turn over, it’s stuck. Has some rust in the floor. Can be fixed easily, because it’s all in flat areas. And needs seats recovered.”
This looks like a great price. Only the hardtop is for sale.
“I have a complete Koenig hard top that has been installed on a 1948 CJ2A. The top has been on the CJ garaged for 25+ years and is rust free but does have minor dings and dents; nothing major. Driver and passenger windows function but the glass is cracked on both. I have removed the top from the CJ.”

Are the two rear oval windows custom?
“For Sale: Hardtop and doors for a Willys Jeep. It is in good condition and was taken off due to the project we wanted to complete. There are some missing pieces, but should only be a few fasteners. Asking $850 OBO. Please only either text me or email me. Those are the best ways for me to respond.”
I thought the paint job and stripes were unusual.
