This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Though the engine is having some oil pressure issues, the body itself looks like it would make a good restoration project.

This looks pretty original. This hasn’t been fired up by the owner. It has no title.

What you see is what you get, and I do have an old 1945 title for it (hasn’t been registered in a very long time). It’s got a cool galvanized metal top that looks factory built (not just some cheesy home-made jobby) I think it’s a Sears and Roebuck. Engine is seized up, and vehicle is a total rusty project, but at $1250, it would make a cool, cheap yard ornament until you get around to fixing it up! Thanks for looking.”

(09/05/2013) Some windows are cracked.
“Willys jeep m38 hard top, original Willys overland part. Has windshield, 2 doors & back window. Driver’s side windows are cracked & rear window cracked. Windshield has original vacuum wiper motors. Overall in decent shape. I believe all original.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500. Allstate hardtop.
Looks like there are lots of parts there.
“I have a willys cj3b for sale for my dad. No title . Has been used for a woods jeep for years and hasn’t been run in several years. Motor is believed to seized up, all parts are there. Body is complete but rusty, tires and wheels have been changed since pictures were taken and it will roll around easily now. Once again it is being sold as is non running and needs to be trailered. Would also consider straight trade for a three point five foot disc for tractor.”

(07/18/2013) Rare KEMCO top?
“1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ2, KEMCO All-steel cab w/bucket attachment, new glass, converted to 12V,new battery, rebuilt alternator, new regulator, new gas tank, cab heater, chains, heavy duty handyman jack, spare tire and 3 extra rims, tow bar, manuals and books. Good tires. I am selling this for an elderly friend that has owned this jeep for a long time. He has been working on the restoration and it ran before he started working on the new components. The jeep has been in the garage most of its life, so the body is pretty solid. Will make someone a fun toy.

If it includes the winch, this looks like a good price.
