About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1947 Willys CJ-2A, rebuilt engine with 1000 miles including radiator, clutch, rear end, all new brake system, shocks, springs, hangers. New tires, exhaust system, seats. All new glass in top and windshield. Runs great and good condition.”
“1955 Willys CJ5 This car has tons of life left in it for countless more miles on the road, it’s not perfect but it’s a solid start with a little work could be back cruising in no time. I’ve had it for years loved it along the way but ready to get into some different projects and focus on one rather than being spread between several project cars. Hard top Bikini top 4×4 Has removable back seat”
This ad indicates it was placed four years ago, but this is the first time I’ve seen it. Maybe still available? One might be a GPW, but hard to say. The other is likely a CJ-2A.
“2 – 1940”s era jeeps (fords) Nothing currently runs, . 1 motor ran when pulled. Other 2 unsure condition. 3 in total Willys L134 Go Devil motors. 1 ran 6 years ago and been stored inside for last 6 years. All parts for 2 jeeps. Plan was green one would be parts. Titles for both”
“1946 Willys CJ2A, v6, 4spd, front disc brakes. I bought the jeep site unseen from an auction. The auction claimed it only needed a battery, which wasn’t true, and I’ve never tried to get it running. The doors (not pictured) are inside the jeep. It came with a New Mexico title, but it is now a Wisconsin title in my name. $3000 (will sell separately)
1940s Spen Model H trailer. This is the civilian equivalent to the Bantam trailers, only more rare. I’m not sure if the side rails are original, but they are well made. $1200 (will sell separately)
Willy’s running gear from a 53 pickup. The radiator, motor, transmission, transfer case, starter are sitting on a pallet and can be started the way it sits using a temp fuel can. I also have the front and rear axles with four newer leaf springs. $1200 (will not sell separately until the after the jeep sells)
Will sell everything for $5,000 or reasonable offer. Located in Black River Falls, WI.”
“I am selling this 1967 CJ-5 (Willys Jeep) My plan was to purchase this and fix it up as a hunting jeep. However, I am not a mechanic and do not have the time to fix it up. My wife and I are retiring soon. It has been in my barn for 2 years. *V6 Engine *Standard Transmission *Kelly Hard Top *Good Snow Tires *Has many of the original parts *Does run but needs work (Not roadworthy) *4wheel Drive/Goes into Gear *Not sure about actual mileage This is a great project for the right person. Super neat. Serious inquiries only. This is a great find and I am selling it at a fair price.”
