Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 cj3 Jeep for sale, Odd Fire Pontiac V6 with a granny low 4 speed trans with a warn overdrive set up. 3/4 ton dodge front axle, front and rear locking hubs, full floating rear axles, rear detroit locker, front posi, frame is beefed up, new gas tank, 9000 pound warn wench. the jeep body is fiberglass. new master and clutch cyl. rebuilt carb. runs and drive good, does great off road and rock climbing. tires need to be replaced and seats need to be covered some wiring needs some attention. all in all a great fun jeep.”
It has a tilt front end. No drive train (and not rear end?).

“1948 Willy’s pick up. Custom built. On a 1985 k5 frame 283 v8, turbo 350, 203 t case. 3:42 gears. locker in front and spool in the back. Radiator and battery in the bed. 35 inch tires on black d hole steel wheels. Open headers. It does need some tlc. Or just keep it as a trail or mud truck. This truck is not road legal. The person I bought the body from made it into a one piece front clip and did some body work on it. I have the original vin plate and a 55 vin with a title. I will consider trade for a nice gas powered lifted golf cart. Must be a newer cart. No junk. The truck is 4500 or best offer”

PLATE on firewall, serial # is a 1946. decent tub, has a 1 piece fiberglass tilt hood, has 3 speed trans and transfer case, NO ENGINE ! front and rear differentials, fronts have lock out hubs. condition of drivetrain is unknown. frame has been modified for a newer engine, GM tilt column. roll bar is loosely attached. tires are poor. “1945 Willy’s CJ-2A. Custom Through and through. Buick 231 high performance engine and and three speed manual transmission. Warn overdrive, locking hubs and a 1953 CJ3A Dana. 15″ x 14″ Weld wheels on Rancho RS 9000 shocks. The boxed and reinforced frame is engineered to flex without compromising strength and durability. The tilt column has wipers, hazard lights and headlights incorporated. Seats have a 4-point racing harness. Front lines are electric brake line lock and rear driveshaft E-brake mounted to the transfer case output. It has power steering, Auto-Meter pro comp gauges and an under seat heater. Stainless steel brake and engine lines. Synthetic oil throughout. Jeep is currently in Ft. Smith MT. Please, serious inquiries only. Price given to buyers by phone only.”
