About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1946 Willys CJ2A painted to look like a military jeep. Rare three on the tree, manufactured the first few months of 46. Runs great, doesn’t overheat in parades. Dents and bruises up close, it’s been there done that. I have the oil bath air cleaner. When you drive this you’re in your own parade, be prepared to wave. $8,000.00 firm”
This jeep is privately owned and 100% turn-key. Selling only because I have multiple project vehicles and no time to enjoy this one anymore. It’s a great weekend cruiser and gets lots of attention wherever it goes. Truly classic Korean War era jeep that would be a great addition to any collectors line up.
I purchased this jeep from a farm in upstate NY and was my fixer-upper project back in 2009. I have the clean title in-hand, exempt status, antique registered w/ period correct tag, recent oil change, new tires, and only needs a few minor repairs to make it perfect. I have put only 1,500 miles on it since purchased, no accidents, adult owned, garage kept, never seen rain or snow, never off-road, non-smoker and no dents or dings, 46k original miles on drive train. I start it every weekend and take it for a short ride to keep her running. Continue reading →

Also for sale a restored ammo trailer. Trailer is $1250. $8500 for the Jeep and the trailer OBO. Selling this for a friend.”
(10/06/2016) Militarized 2A that may have a VEC body.
“1946 Jeep Willys for the serious Jeep owner.
Mostly all original. New thermostat, radiator, clutch, canvas top and a few tools.
All manuals and work history since I have owned it. Garage stored.
Jeep runs great and is ready for you!
This is a great Jeep for a collector, someone looking to restore an iconic vehicle (which would only take some paint and a few small parts), or if you’re looking for a reliable vehicle to cruise across town.”
It’s not clear to me whether this runs or not, but seller has a video of it running. It needs work.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A Military Restoration
1947 painted to resemble an old military version. It was a little more complicated and expensive than I thought but it will last a long time now and be alot of fun for the kids for years to come.
I replaced the brakes from the master cylinder, lines to brake cylinders and replaced the pads and two drums, plus the emergency brake. New shocks, tires (original WWII bi-directional), a new bell housing, clutch plate, new radiator, hoses, belts and seats. We degreased the thing 3 times before I had it sand blasted and painted. Restored in 2001 and pretty much garage parked since. Engine is original and in pretty good shape. Still has the original bucket body with bullet holes ! (Well, painted rust holes)
It has been covered up over the winter. But it ran fine last summer. Let me know if you want to see it, I will uncover it for you. I am not getting auto insurance for it this summer. So you wont be test driving it except on my driveway. I do have a current video of it running so you can hear the engine
I have about 30 current photos so let me know what you would like to see !”
