These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/17/2016) Looks like a 2A that’s had the fuel inlet filled and an MB/GPW tank installed. Would make a solid re-enactment or parade jeep.
“1946 Jeep. New brakes all around, new battery, Runs great. Converted to 12 volt, has canvas top. Black out lights changed to street lights for driving around town. I have all parts in a box. Appointment need to show.”
(04/30/2015) There is still work to be completed (wiring), the steps have been modified, and the drains holes filled.
“This is a civilian model painted to look military. Brakes, tie rod ends, seats new. 4 cylinder flat head runs great, no smoke or leaks. Everything works, but the lights and signals. Might be head light switch they come on but don’t stay on. Never used it after dark so never worked on them. Some rust under body to be expected. Tires old but hold air, off road no problem. Drives great. 3751 miles. 12 volt system. Soft top included. Must have $6900 or trade for old Harley”
Lights need wiring. Step has been modified and drain hole filled.

The body extender included in this sale was itself for sale a couple years ago.

The seller has shipped other jeeps to Europe and Mexico. The seller notes the quality, but there are places where the previous color shows through on the engine.

“i have an 46 willys cjs2 jeep for sale. it haves the original flat 4 engine. was running but the oring went out for the oil filter and the gen broke. but i order the replacement oring. it been switched over form the 6vots to 12vots. so you can run a normal alt. i also have a complete gasket kit(just in case). i paint it OD Green and put on a ww2 willys military sticker kit.
i dont have title. i never put it in my name because i honestly didnt care. i just drove it around. but its an awesome start for a rebuild.
im open to trade.
would lovefor a smell runnng car or truck.(w/title) dont mind if it needs alittle work. must run and be drive-able. and some cash.

“I’m the second owner and have owned it for 35 years. In very good mechanical shape. Could use a new paint job but in very good condition. Seats are still in good condition. Under 60,000 miles. Has been sitting inside for many years but I am getting it back together now.”
(09/04/2016) Looks like a clean build of a militarized CJ.
