This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This “restored” estate sale jeep has a variety of updates.
“Fully Restored 1946 Willys Jeep. Seats are not original. Excellent condition. Clear title and no accidents. Garaged at all times. By appt only to view. From a HUGE estate that is being liquidated. Jeep is for sale now through the Sale in early June. Asking 12,500.00, cash only sale. ”

Seth forwarded this militarized CJ-2A from Bring-a-Trailer’s website.
“This 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A is a body-off restored example with a 134 CI 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission, and upgrades for safety and highway cruising. It is fitted with seat belts and a roll bar as well as 11” drum brakes and locking hubs in the front and a Warn Overdrive unit to lower engine RPM at speed. Notable features include an original-style canvas top with the frames and bracketry which enable multiple configurations of the top and side curtains, as well as a cool bed-extension option in the rear.”
According to the map on Craigslist, this jeep is located near the US & Canadian border a short distance from Niagara Falls.

(12/31/2015) This has more updates than appears at first glance. It’s got a Pinto rack and pinion steering.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A, (5) new tires, paint, replaced front end with rack and pinion, new sets. Clean title inspected in July 2015. Engine is a 1975 pinto 4 cylinder. Runs great it a little cold but you could drive it home. The rack & pinion is from 1975 pinto. The engine Adapter is a “Novak adapter”

“1947 Willys CJ 2A jeep for sale. VIN #98722. WWII military trim. Olive drab green. Vehicle title clear. Flathead 4 cylinder, 4-wheel drive. 12 volt battery. New hi-torque starter motor. Many other new replaced parts/components(too many to list-will provide list of new parts if seriously interested). Total cash payment preferred (discounted price for cash payment). (09/22/2015) Solid militarized 2A. The seller writes a great deal in his post, but say very little about the jeep. This may be not be “Barbie’s Jeep” but it isn’t the jeep that “freed Europe”.
