About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Definitely a scam. This jeep ad has been spotted in several locations now. A reader named Sam took the plunge and emailed the seller. After several rounds of emails, Sam concluded there was no jeep.
Possible scam as the price seems too good. Seller mentions nothing about the jeep.

Up for sale is a 1952 Willys CJ3A serial #31961 that is finished as an MB style WWII Army military Jeep. This jeep is ready to be driven and can be enjoyed today. It is great in parades, errands, and road trips. . You get lots of looks and high fives. This is a Fun Jeep! I take good sound jeeps, fix and upgrade where it needs it, and finish them to military. This Willys is street legal and safe with clear Kansas title, left and right blinkers, tail lights, headlights, olive drab seat belts, and brake lights. The blinkers and seat belts have been added to increase the safety of the vehicle, especially when driving the grandkids around.
“NOTICE: I have reduced the price of this Historically accurate Show Jeep by over $500–Come and check it out!
This is a really nice 1960 civilian version (CJ5) Willys Jeep which is almost identical in every respect to the actual Historical Army (M38A1) Jeep. I have shown this vehicle at car shows and used it to pull floats in Veteran’s Day parades. It is exceptionally clean and starts and runs good. As a historical vehicle I do not need to have it inspected and it only costs me $35 per year for insurance.

Needs a few small things: Brakes are soft, they work but need to be pumped Leak from trans or tcase Drain on battery E brake and speedometer not hooked up but comes with parts I have a stack of receipts and a box of parts to go with it. 12k obo. Open to trades up or down”
“1949 Willy’s. I am listing for my father in law so don’t have all of the details. Feel free to message me for his contact info and you can call to speak with him. In good shape and runs good.”
“Check out this recently restored 4×4 Willys Jeep. Its about as good as it gets for this model. Its also more versatile than a Side by Side/ UTV, since its street legal and has a tow bar. Best of all its easy to work on and appreciates in value. Due to the large amount of spam on this site, I will only respond to emails which contain your phone number. If the ad is up its still available.”
