These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Restored by an experienced classic car enthusiast who also restored two Model As, a Packard, and a REO Flying Cloud. The car was fully operational and regularly driven in holiday parades (i.e., Brunswick and Valley City Fourth of July and Old Fashioned Days Parades) immediately prior to the restorer’s death in December 2017. “60 Horsepower “Go Devil” 4 cylinder engine and manual transmission. Excellent condition, very clean and rust free. Used in local area parades and various military events.”
I get no joy in pointing out problematic ad, but this one made me shake my head more than usual. This low mileage jeep already has a gas stain running down the side. Phrases like “Fully military spec’d” and “Very authentic” make it all the worse. Finally, it’s listed as a 1945 (to the sellers credit, it is labeled an Army Jeep Tribute), when the serial number (which the builder used as the hood number also) clearly indicates it is a 1947.
