I have worked this Jeep over and it runs like a champ with an updated 12 volt electrical system. Jeep drives smooth and tight. The transmission and transfer-case shift smooth and front axle locking hubs work great. Jeep comes with another set of wheels/tires, rear seat, rifle rack and other spare parts including new water pump, muffler, fuel level sensor, etc..

Doug spotted this former Shriner’s jeep. It’s listed as a 1953, but it appears to be a post 1956 3B.

“53 Willys CJ3B 90% original.has a very well maintained newer top and doors.10,000 original miles it was a parade vehicle the majority of its life.Has a 2.2L hurricane engine with a Warner T-90 3 speed transmission, Spicer 18 2 speed transfercase,Dana/Spicer 25 front axle, and a Dana/Spicer 44 rear axle. Dan spotted this nicely restored wagon. Despite the price, there is still a little work left.

“98 % complete needs a few final touches…Everything gone through…no rust, new paint inside and out, rubber, glass, headliner, white wall tires new or replated chrome original radio…rewired 12 volt system and electric wipers. Everything else is back to stock much more replaced. It has the F-6 161 Hurricane 685 Engine very rare 1952-1955. Sandblasted to bare metal professional paint job. This was a project I did while taking care of my terminally ill wife, she has passed and it is why I’m selling it. I’m willing to negotiate with shipping. Has some unusual extras, but the jeep still may be a good price. The engine is 134 CI, not CC. It is 2,199 CCs.

“This is a classic. Starts easy, runs great. This is a four-wheel drive 1949 Willys Jeep, the first year of the model CJ3A. It features a Willys “Go Devil” L-Head 134CC four-stroke water cooled gas engine. Rebuilt top to bottom in 2000 with less than 500 miles usage since restoration. Three speed manual transmission. Converted to 12V system. Soft-top included. Clean title.”
