Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willys Jeep for sale. This jeep has been restored from top to bottom, I have over 19000.00 into it. It needs tires and rims to finish the complete restoration on it. I am asking 9800.00 well worth the money.”

“Restored CJ2A. Jeep as been completely torn-down and rebuilt. Mostly original with exception of 12V conversion, spin-on oil filter, bikini top added, roll bar added. Jeep also has rare Warn overdrive unit added, making the engine RPM much more reasonable at highway speeds.
Jeep has clear Virginia title”

– Engine is a recently rebuilt Chevy 350 (Motor is from the 1980’s)
– Soft top w/soft doors
– Old hard top with doors that is in pieces and would need a lot of work to restore

– Runs well, but does have 2 oil leaks (one from the valve cover and the other I think is from the oil pan gasket”
