Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1946 Willys CJ2A for sale. This is an early production 2A with the column shift. Color is pasture green with yellow solid disc wheels. Fully functional, it runs and drives great! The floors are solid, body is very nice! This Jeep lived most of its life in San Diego, then was brought to Florida and is now in my heated garage in PA. This Jeep was never abused, it has always been well maintained, and has always been stored indoors.”

“1950 Willys Wagon Street Rod, with 327 and 4 Brl. New Rebuilt R400 Trans. Several Years Project with about $6k invested. Recent Accident promotes sale. Needs body work. Rust on Roof and tail gate hinge. Quart of Pour 15 included for roof. My loss is your Gain. $4500. In Waterford, East of Modesto. The following are all new parts already installed:
4 Row Radiator, Steering Pump, Alternator, Belts, Plugs, Points, Cap and Rotor, Battery Cables, Starter, K & N Air Cleaner, Lites front and rear, Complete rewire, Dash Gages, Radio/Disc Player (needs Fuse) and speakers, Interior lites, Two new rear Tires and Tubes, Master Brake Cylinder, Brake shoes,Stainless Steel Hood Latches, wipers. “This jeep in good condition. Has a removeable top. This jeep runs and drives, is stock except for the engine. The engine is v-6 Buick. It is red, has new tires on white rims. This jeep was donated to Waukee VFW and we are going to sell it”
