“A real gem! Shows well & gets LOTS of attention! A must see! Finished in 2008 & has been in car shows in CA & OR, with 12 awards, including the 2011 “Rad Willy” award in Grass Valley, CA.
*Frame off restoration
*6,800 miles on drivetrain

*700R4 GM transmission
*4.11, 9″ Ford rearend
*Autometer gauges
*Oak wood bed
*BASF custom mixed paint
*Custom interior
*Always garaged”
This looks real nice, but some of the decisions surprise me, such as not having the transmission plate cover installed.
“Vin # CJ2A63505. This Willy’s is in excellent condition and the under carriage looks as good as the rest of the Jeep. The restoration was done about 8 years ago by the previous owner who lived in California. The original engine has been replaced with a 1970’s 231 odd fire V6 Buick engine. Since the restoration it has only had about 200 miles put on it. This Willy’s has an all steel body not aluminum or fiberglass knock off.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4250.
This appears to have MB running gear and tub with a CJ front clip. It appears solid.
“1946 Willys Jeep. Original 2.2 iron duke with 6 volt. It has a 3 speed and i believe 5.38 gears. Runs and drives. Current registration. Has not been modified so if you want to make a custom crawler this is a great start.
