Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $7000.
“I have a WW2 1942 Ford GPW for sale. The overall condition is good but this is a restoration vehicle not a turn key. The engine and most other components were rebuilt last year and it was running until recently when the distributor failed. There is a new distributor include with the vehicle and all that remains is for the timing to be set. The vehicle comes with 2 combat rims, a brand new grill, original gauges, and several other restorable parts. There are small spots of rust but nothing that compromises the integrity of the vehicle.
Adam bought himself a Willys truck, so he is selling his CJ-2A. It has a buick v6, power steering and brakes, and brand new tires and rims. You can contact Adam at: adam1 at sonic.net

“i have a 53 jeep willys title in hand don’t need to sell but reasonable offers are welcome, I have many many extras to go with this set up, to include camo netting polls spreaders dummy rifle to fit in the rack mount, antennas radios have not been tested i never needed to use them so never tried to work them, i can wright for hour or more about but if your serious call and we talk, I do want to say the engine leaks havent been able to find what the trouble was. will need looked into but engine is solid.

im just going to list what i did ask any ? you can think of i need this jeep gone .
rear warn full floating axles w/locking hubs spicer track loc dif 11” brakes 5:38 gears
front axles have been upgraded to u joint style new warn hubs ,11” brakes 5:38 g
rebuilt tranny by herm the overdrive guy w/.3.3:1 first gear not very comon on a 3b
rebuilt transfer case w/ terra low ,low range gear set 3.15:1,makes crawling fun in low range
brand new overdrive from advance adapters,
power steering ,12 volt alt w/ complete new painless wiring harness
there is no rust on this 3b i replaced the hat chanel and the front floor pans the front fenders were nos brand new fenders that i found at archer brothers before they clossed , new seats not original i no but man them stockers were unconfortable, gas tank was coated inside better than new, i just desided this last week to paint the stock rims and buy a set of 700-16 NDTS i have a set of bfg 32×11.50 if you prefer i will keep one set and sell seperatly the choice goes to the buy it drives better w/ 700×16.”
