This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looked pretty good until I saw the paint job on the engine. It looks like someone just painted the engine, with all parts attached.

“All original 1947 CJ2A Jeep with some mechanical restoration but remaining stock. New wheels and tires added. Original wheels available. “Runs good, i drove it around town before it got t o cold. Everything works but a couple of the gauges and brake lights. I’ve put everything from plugs and wires to carb. rebuild, bearings in the front end, hoses and belts, lights. Gas tank rusted out so i put a plastic one in for now.
