This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: John spotted this video. This 8×8 was last listed on eBay and sold for $11,100. It was relisted in 2014, at which time the video below was posted. I believe this sold, as it is no longer listed on the seller’s website.

Known for his collaboration on the mechanical side of cars built with legendary 70’s car builder “Big Daddy Ross” his name is synonymous with multi-axle vehicles. This build includes the following:
-2 Overland wagons and 1 Jeep used to build this amazing Overland Custom
-Rebuilt 327 Corvette engine powers ALL 8 Wheels!
-Fuel Cell inside
-2 Leather Bucket Seats
-White face gusges
-Working emaergency sirens and lights
In full disclosure, the items that are not 100% show quality as follows:
-There is a bit of overspray on the drivers side
-The interior could use some TLC to get to show quality
This Willys will literally go anywhere, and it has. Dick Cook personally drove this rig with his daughter from Crested Butte Colorado all the way over the pass to Aspen only a few years ago for a road trip. With the option of locking out the rear 4 wheels this rig will motor down the highway at 65 mph. Also has one of the best turning capabilities of any auto out there. It will “crab” down the road in a parade or 8 wheel steer itself out of any trail corner. Bid now and be the owner of this one of a kind WIllys 8X8 Overland before it makes its way to Barrett Jackson Las Vegas and goes for who know how much!”

“1945 U.S. Army Willys Jeep, possibly the most sought after vintage vehicle in America. This is one nicely restored example of WWII transportation. It looks good at a cruise in, car show, parade or Military Vehicle Collector’s events. It will not disappoint. 4 military tread tires with 95% tread and a spare with 80% tread all on 16” combat rims.Top was new in 2015 and the transmission was gone through in 2016 and is fitted with Warn hubs. Converted to 12 volt system and has an “OOgah horn installed. The tub has been powder coated and it has been garaged since the restoration. I am posting this for my brother Lee who was in the U. S. Navy SeaBees in Viet Nam thus the Navy lettering. The photos in this post are photos of photos so they are not the best. “Completely restored 1945 Willys MB model Jeep including military decals and insignia. Purchased by my father in 1957. Comes complete with canvas top, canvas windshield cover, original front hubs (Borg-Warner lock-out hubs on front for tire preservation), and many spare parts including an additional Willys “Go-Devil” short block. I have a custom-built trailer for hauling it that can be included.”

“This 1949 Willys station wagon is a 2-wheel drive example powered by a 134ci L-head inline-four mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The truck was reportedly refurbished by its previous owner with mechanical overhauls, a repaint inside and out, new upholstery, and more. It was acquired four years ago by the seller, who has since stored it indoors as part of a large collection and has driven it about 300 miles. An oil change and chassis lubrication were performed in 2017. This Willys is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.”

(09/08/2017) Bows stored in the correct location is almost always a good sign! I don’t see a piece across the windshield though.
“A must see and drive to appreciate this 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A “original” civilian flat fender model recently professionally, completely machined and rebuilt to use unleaded fuel. 1,200 miles. Body of frame rebuilt (I chose not to paint the body or replace passenger side windshield); all new wire harness, 6 volt system; two new tail light system, turn signal system, electric windshield wiper, rebuilt generator, all new gauges, speedometer; all drive assemblies professionally rebuilt, transmission, transfer case, front differential, rear differential, all drive hubs and bearings, brakes , brake lines, etc., ; five new military type tires; rebuilt radiator, water pump, hoses etc.; new carburetor, fuel pump, all fuel lines; gas tank and sending unit; all new springs and shocks; all new exhaust; all new 12 volt radio/speakers installed by Car Toys; all new seat cushions; all original soft top bows and new small custom “Banana” soft top to cover the front seats. Clean title and licensed. This won’t last long!”
