“I have a complete 1953 Willys CJ3-B jeep chassis with a custom roll cage. I have had this jeep for over ten years. The previous owner had the new roll cage installed and never got around to getting the jeep running. I had it running for a little while but then went off to college and haven’t gotten back to in years. I was hoping to have a place to work on it soon but I could use the space in my garage. I am not in a hurry to sell it so the right price will help. I am posting in hopes of finding someone who would be willing to trade an outdoor sauna for it. This photo appeared in what I think was a 1979 issue of Jeep News (I couldn’t find an exact date). It’s a funky setup!
This appears to have been a CJ-2A that’s been heavily modified. Possible CJ-2L?

I’m pretty sure I’ve done a post on this car in the past, but I can’t find it at the moment.

The VIN plate suggests this is a CJ-5 that’s been stretched and put on a Chev chassis. The grille sure is unusual.
