This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 M-38 Willy’s Military Jeep in exceptional condition. This Jeep has been converted to 12 volt with all new wiring with Military Spec wire and connectors. It has blackout lights front and back that are operational. All dash lights and gauges work. Engine runs great, vacuum windshield wipers are operational, rare folding rear seat with cushions and seatbelts. Almost complete rust-free body. Current California vehicle registration with clear title. I have new seat cover for drivers seat and side doors not shown in pictures. Other parts available. ”

Rebuilt engine. New clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing. 4 wheel drive, and dash gauges all work. Surf board “needs repaired” comes free.”

(08/24/2015) This was owned by Evil Kneivel’s father-in-law. It doesn’t run at the moment, still it appears worth a look.
“Original condition Willys Jeep that has been in storage since 1991. It will need a new battrey, the gas tank cleaned, a few new oil seals and maybe carb repair to get it running again.
I purchased this jeep back in 1972 from the original owner and did convert it to 12 volt. I have owners manual and sidesteps plus a 390 page service manual, army gas can, etc…The first owner installed a tow bar, a power takeoff winch and a airplane altimeter in the dash (see pictures). It has always been kept in a garage and has very little rust.
FYI, the first owner was Evil Kneivels’s father-in-law.”
