(09/29/2015) Stretched with other mods, it appears to have the original engine.

“This is a heavily modified 1952 Willy’s Jeep. It has a Rusty’s based 3 bar suspension front and rear. The body has stretched 10″ and custom 18″ wheels and off road tires bolted up to the Dana axles. It is also equipped with a 6 point roll cage and a PSC hydraulic steering unit. It has the original flathead four cylinder and Solex carb. Only 320 miles since restoration.”

“CJ5 frame, New body cut and stretched-added 4″ to match frame-turned out nice. Front axle Dana 27, rear axle Dana 44 – 3.73 ratio on both. Factory Saginaw Steering. New springs and brakes. 1 new in box Novak Kit for SM465 to a T18 kit and 1 Chevy motor mount kit new in box. 2-SM465 transmissions w/ bellhousings plus a whole lot more new and used components.

NOTE: this is a complete new body w/fenders, hood, grille and windshield frame. Includes a CJ5 title w/ID tag.”

Seller dropped this ’48 body onto a Suzuki Samurai. The battery must be in the box behind the front bumper.

“I have a 1948 willys body stretched to fit on a 88 Suzuki samurai. 4 cyl 5 speed 4×4 with 143,000 miles. Was lifted about 5 inches. Brand new wheels and tires and paint, it is a rough texture bed liner paint. It needs some work here and there to be finished right but can drive. I put over 4K miles on it last year”

Engine professionally build brand new by Charles Hoverton out of Phoenix via Pro Stock Eng Builders…etc etc too much to list,,over $8,000 in parts in the motor. Borg and Warner 4 speed manuel, new heavy duty clutch assembly 12 inch, 2 Ford 9 inch front and rear ends, shorty headers. This jeep is appox 0 miles on the new crate motor. (02/08/2016) This was built as a dunes jeep.

“1954 willys cj3b. has been stretched to 92 inches. primarily built to be used in the sand. but has been licensed and insured for the last 15 years that i have had it. engine started as a mid 60’s ford 428 cu in……..as found in the kr500 shelbly mustangs. i took it down to bare block and built it to 435 inches with, 10.5 comp, aluminum edebrock heads, gear drive, comp solid cam, aluminum roller rockers, edel..broc performer intake etc. ended up with 500 hp. the trans is a built to the hilt c6 auto with b and m holeshot 2400 stall converter. has 5.38 rears front and rear. i originally built this motor for a shelbly close mustang or late 60’s fairlane to run brackets…..but work got in the way and never happened. needless to say this jeep runs on the street and in the sand very well. has msd billet distributor and msd7ml-2 ignition. which you can change rev limiter in seconds by chip change. will twist 7000 rpms…..but i run 6400 chip, car has gobs of torque.

The body was stretched from it’s CJ-6 size, making it not so much rare as it is custom. A neat jeep though. It’s not clear to me, but I think this was a CJ-6 stretched onto a Scrambler chassis?

“One of a kind very rare. Use it like a truck or a Jeep. No smog required. Clean title, pink in hand. Professional Custom stretch CJ8 Scrambler. Factory 304 v8, t18 4 speed stick shift, model 20 t case twin stick, 4.0 low range. Dana44 rear, Detroit locker, 33 spline shafts, rear warn hubs, front Dana 30, ARB air locker, both with 4.88 gears. On board air engine driven compressor. 4″ lift kit, 33” BFG mud tires. Runs and drives excellent. Lots of power. I have full soft top and full soft doors plus half soft top and half doors. It comes with a very nice tow bar and lift jack. Lots of money invested in this jeep. Very easy to tow because all wheels unlock.
